Dan Florian commented on JBIDE-7928:
------------------------------------
You will also get an exception on startup even if the password has been saved but the
server is down or if there is a problem with URL or user name. Also, showing the user a
Password Dialog as part of Eclipse startup seems a bit odd (maybe that is just me). Maybe
instead of trying to connect to each ModeShape instance when we startup Eclipse we should
wait until they are used the first time. If we fail to connect then, showing the Server
Dialog (where they could edit server properties) might be appropriate. What do you all
think?
Prompt for Password Dialog
--------------------------
Key: JBIDE-7928
URL:
https://issues.jboss.org/browse/JBIDE-7928
Project: Tools (JBoss Tools)
Issue Type: Feature Request
Components: modeshape
Affects Versions: 3.2.0.Beta2
Reporter: Pavol Srna
Assignee: Dan Florian
Attachments: Screenshot.png
When you setup connection to ModeShape repository and do not check "Save
password" option, you will get and exception by restarting eclipse. It would be nice
to have prompt for password dialog instead of this exception.
