Max Rydahl Andersen commented on JBIDE-12152:
---------------------------------------------
Okey, so just so everyone is clear on what is "broken":
Doing actual builds against
maven.repository.redhat.com *will* work assuming the actual
artifacts are present in the repository because when builds runs they lookup *exact*
artifacts or uses the pom.xml's present to deduce related information.
What will be limited/not-working are lookups that needs to scan for artifacts such as this
dialog trying to locate any jboss-javaee-web-6.0 that ends with -redhat-<something>.
Previously we had a direct lookup here but that couldn't work either since the version
was changing between releases.
Thus in short, it will be of huge value to have the index(es) generated for
maven.repository.redhat.com when they are updated/created.
A *-redhat version of org.jboss.spec:jboss-javaee-web-6.0 cannot be
found (at
maven.repository.redhat.com/jboss-eap/6.0.0-cr1/maven-repository)
