I am data platform architect at JBoss by Red Hat and member of the Hibernate team.
I have spent a few years in the retail industry as developer and architect and moved in
the ORM space. I have lead Hibernate JPA implementation and founded Hibernate Search,
Hibernate Validator and Hibernate OGM.
I am a member of the JPA 2.1 expert group and the spec lead of Bean Validation. You can
see me speak at various conferences and JUGs, including JavaOne, JBoss World and Devoxx. I
am also founder and co-host of two podcasts: JBoss Community Asylum and Les Cast Codeurs
Podcast (French).

so I'll follow up.
I am currently working as software architect in the Java EE space for
an international logistics company in Hamburg, Germany. Before that
I've been involved in several projects in the retail/e-commerce field
as software engineer and dev lead.
In my spare time I'm contributing to Hibernate Validator. To name an
example, I've built the method validation feature part of HV 4.2.
Based on that I also created the Seam Validation module. If I'm
finding the time I'm writing mostly on Java stuff at my blog [1].
JSR #349 is the first JSR I'm contributing to and I'm really looking
forward to working on a great BV 1.1 together with all of you :-)

i joined the jsr-303 eg in 2008.
besides that i'm asf member and currently:
- committer, pmc member (and chair) at apache myfaces
- committer, pmc member at apache openwebbeans
- committer, ppmc (podling pmc) member at apache bval.

like Emmanuel I am member of the Hibernate team working for JBoss.
I am a core developer of Hibernate and Hibernate Search and project lead
of Hibernate Validator.

Hi,
Let's continue with me!
My name is Kevin Pollet and I'm a Java software developer in a French IT
company named SERLI.
In this company I'm developing customer projects in Java/Java EE and I'm
also a member of the R&D team. As a member of that team and in my spare time
I'm contributing on Open Source projects like Hibernate Validator and that's
why I'm here today :-)
What else? I'm an Open Source advocate and a Java geek trying to improve its
skills with personal projects and contributions. I'm also involved in the
Poitou-Charentes JUG and I've spoke in different JUGs. When it's possible
I'm going to Java events like JBoss World and Devoxx this year.
So I'm happy to be here and ready to work!

I worked in various technical positions of different business units. I'm
the project lead of the open source validation framework OVal and a
committer of the wicketstuff project. I've also been a member of the JSR
303 (Bean Validation 1.0) expert group.

Hello everyone,
I'm employed at RedHat and have been part of the JBoss AS team (more
specifically the JBoss EJB3 team) since around 3 years now. These days I'm
involved in the development of AS7. I have been contributing to other open
source projects (most of them JBoss related) since the past 7 years of my
career in software industry. I occasionally blog at
http://www.jaitechwriteups.blogspot.com/.
Although I haven't closely followed Bean Validation 1.0 spec during its
development, I do know what it is and what role it plays in an application.
I plan to be more active in 1.1 version of the spec and contribute in any
possible way.
