finally I tried with oracle jdk 64 bit.. its working ..and now the "jbdevstudio-unity" launcer is also an executable file ... I ran "jbdevstudio-unity" instead of regular jbds ...and now all the menus are accessible and I am also able to create project. just saw these errors in the terminal ./jbdevstudio-unity SLF4J: Failed to load class "org.slf4j.impl.StaticLoggerBinder". SLF4J: Defaulting to no-operation (NOP) logger implementation SLF4J: See http://www.slf4j.org/codes.html#StaticLoggerBinder for further details. This looks like a bug from the m2e version 1.1.0.20120530-0009 and onwards .. but nothing serious... can be easily fixed. thanks for your support!
