Problem adding JPA facet to maven project

IMPORTANT NOTE: I can only access the internet with IE. Not with eclipse. Not with any git client. If you answer, PLEASE PLEASE PLEASE do not .suggest anything that involves the eclipse marketplace or any update or install sites. (can you tell I've been down that path before. :-) ). Thanks in advance If this is not a JBDS issue, please point me in the right direction. I just downloaded JBDS 7.1.0 GA so I would have the latest version. I imported a simple maven project with only hibernate core as a dependency. Once it's imported I want to add JPA 2.0 facet. Attempt #1: I went into Project Facets and select Java facet 1.6 (it was 1.4 by default) and JPA 2.0. I clicked on Targeted Runtimes tab and select jboss-eap 6.1 runtime. I clicked on "further configuration available" link and it took me to the JPA configuration page where I selected Hibernate 2.0 for platform and under JPA Implementation selected Library provided by targeted runtime. JBoss Development Studio & EAP

Hi , I have registered and downloaded 'jbdevstudio-product-eap-universal-7.1.1.GA-v20140314-2145-B688' from JBoss org site. After installing JBDS ...I installed Jboss Integration and Business rules plug inswhich has BPEL and BPMN developemnet support from JBoss Central. Also I have a EAP configured and running in JBDS. This tool says it has '*GNU LESSER GENERAL PUBLIC LICENSE*' Also when i downloaded the tool ..below message was shown on the site : "Thank you for downloading JBoss Developer Studio! Problems with the download? Please use this direct link. This download is available under the JBoss Developer Program which you joined on October 17, 2014. *View the terms and conditions. Your subscription to the JBoss Developer Program ends in 354 days* ." Does this mean that I will have to purchase the subscription after 354 days.. JPA commands not found in forge?

When I run forge it doesnt have any JPA commands in its command list. Add project ivy managed dependencies to EAR Module Assembly

I have some java projects that I have added to my EAR project. I can add them to the Ear Module Assembly but I don't see any way to add the Ivy managed dependencies from them to the EAR Module Assembly also. Any ideas on how to do this? I am using: JBoss Developer Studio 8.0.0.CR1 Apache IvyIDE 2.2.0.Final Wildfly 8.1.0.Final The "New Assembly Directive" dialogue doesn't seem to have any way to do this. OData Error

JBoss Developer Studio 8 Download Issue

Today I received the Red Hat Developer News | October 2014 and have a couple of issues. 1. There is a link to *Red Hat Rolls Out New JBoss Developer Subscription, Resources, and Technology (http://app.engage.redhat.com/e/er?s=1795&lid=19614&elq=a927f8501934461dbd.... The funny thing is, on this page they talk about the Subscription but there is no information of how to subscribe/buy (cost FREE) it. 2. It seems there should be a link to: http://www.jboss.org/faq/1. This at least talks about the program - but again it seems confusing to me. Why, well I've been a member of this forum for a long time. This program is supposedly new by the press release above. 2. So how do I register if I am already registered in Jive? 3. Is there a way to see my memberships to confirm it? 2. There is a link to download JBoss Developer Studio 8: http://app.engage.redhat.com/e/er?s=1795&lid=19615&elq=a927f8501934461dbd.... When I click on the link it asked me to login to Red Hat and then I'm told I don't have the ability to see the link/download. 2. After going through the JBoss.org site I found this page to download 8.0RC1:1. http://www.jboss.org/products/devstudio/download/ 2. Errors while installing Data Virtualization in JBDS 7.1.1 GA

I am trying to install Data Virtualization on JBDS 7.1.1GA using http://download.jboss.org/jbosstools/updates/release/kepler/integration-s.... But I am getting multiple error messages. Need help configure archetypes...I'm about to cry (its been 2 days!)

I installed JBoss Developer Studio, configured my Settings.xml file and I thought I was all set to take a look at the TicketMaster Project. I tried setting up a new HTML5 project, and also a new Maven Project through the studio but I keep getting errors. For the HTML5 project, please look at the screenshot for the error. It keeps telling me I don't have the required archetypes in the configured repositories. I've configured all that I know I could (or I think I know I could). For the Maven Project, I go through the set of screens to install various archetypes, but it just won't work. This is the error: "Could not resolve archetype org.apache.maven.archetypes:maven-archetype-quickstart:RELEASE from any of the configured repositories. JBoss Dev Studio - hot deploy of static content in war in ear

I am deploying an ear file that contains a war file into JBoss EAP 6.2.4.GA (AS 7.3.4.Final-redhat-1). Is it possible to edit an html or css file that is in the war file and have the change reflected in the browser without having to redeploy the ear that contains the war file with the change to the static content? Can't disable JAX-RS facet in Eclipse Luna version jBoss Tools

If I attempt to disable the JAX-RS facet in the project then I get the following error.
