M5 spin status :: no aggregate or JBDS installers available yet; many bot and non-UI test failures, plus one inter-build compilation failure

Since turning on the stable branch jobs, here's what's borked...

Still trying to get a clean stable_branch aggregate build (and then JBT
builds too) - last time the aggregate failed due to missing Central,
OTDT, and OpenShift (hadn't spun clean yet).

Details:
- hibernate : test failure in org.hibernate.eclipse.console.test
- jbpm : test failure in org.jboss.tools.jbpm.convert.test
- jsf : test failure in org.jboss.tools.jsf.vpe.jsf.test
- maven : 15 bot test failures (same failures in trunk) ... should these
just be turned off and only run locally / manually?
- struts : COMPILE FAILED - upstream bits missing? "The import
org.jboss.tools.jst.web.validation cannot be resolved."

There are also a few jobs for which the latest build failed, but at
least we have one good build since branching. This suggests we're having
some stability issues w/ a few Jenkins slaves, but at least we're
getting clean spins when the server is quiet(er).
= archives : aborted build? [Dec 4 ok]
= birt : failed to find usage bits (poor timing between builds) [Dec 4 ok]
= seam : no more locks failure [Dec 4 ok]

Modeling Management Objects (was: birth of "console ui" in eclipse)

Hey folks,
I've spent a brief amount of time adding SwitchYard specific console features into the Eclipse Servers View. It would be a *huge* help if the models used in the GWT console could be used in Eclipse.
That said, there is a lot of mileage to be gained by simply being able to use the AutoBean framework within Eclipse. Does anyone have any experience using AutoBeans in an Eclipse or OSGi environment? (In SY land, we're slowly moving to a place where our core management/configuration model API can be used in the tooling as well.)

REST Client Library for Eclipse

Hey all,
I was just wondering if anybody required a REST client in any of their plugins and, if so, what are you using?
I was looking at the ECF REST client, but would rather use something common to other JBT plugins.

New Indigo SR2 target platform coming tomorrow!

As the Indigo SR2 bits are now available on the eclipse.org servers (but
not yet released officially -- that announcement is tomorrow), I'm going
to start pulling down the bits and building a new mirror on dl.jb.org,
and will then respin the TP for the trunk jobs (stable_branch will stay
on the SR1-M TP for now).
If QE is ok with the idea, we could respin the whole stable_branch
against the updated TP, too. Benefit there is that end-users will be
using something that's been built/tested against the latest public
version of Eclipse, rather than an intermediate maintenance build from a
few weeks ago.
