AFAIK wst validations can actually run on any kind of project - it is
just up to the validator to state what natures it requires.

I actually reported this to eclipse a while back:

"All projects validation" means All projects (that has the validation
builder activated).
So for Plain old java projects you have to run validation manually or we
should install the validator builder when we add seam support.
