I'd object - the damage have happened. No need to spend more time
at it.
It's a matter of minutes to change it. I really think it would make
things clearer. For example it allows to keep
Alpha2-SNAPSHOT has been "released" and Alpha3 is now where
we are at.
Going back in version just to clean up this mistake is going to be
more confusing.
What do you mean by released? Alpha2-SNAPSHOT, by definition, has
not
been released in my understanding.
AFAICS, the Alpha1 bits of JBT now reference TP 4.30.5.Alpha.

It would have been confusing is 4.30.5.Alpha3-SNAPSHOT had been used
widely by the team, but I don't think it happened.
