we should choose some "relevant wizards" to mark as what the default things for Ctrl+New should show instead of the non-j2ee related wizards that is there now.
see hibernate tools for exmample on how to do that.

The page has no help text ...e.g. doesn't explain what i'm actually setting up here
Why does the "weight" column need to be exposed in the ui ? would it not be better to allow users to order the categories in a list ?

Descriptor xpaths is not a good name for a feature
--------------------------------------------------
Key: JBIDE-412

Project: JBoss IDE
Issue Type: Bug
Components: JBossIDE Core
Reporter: Max Andersen

Using underlying techname for a feature is not very "informative"
The node name should be something more "relevant"
e.g. Server info or something.
And then have some (fixed?) nodes with predefined xpaths and then only expose the xpath stuff when users want to actually mess with them by adding or changing tehm

when editing xpaths i can click preview (which is cool)
but if my xpath doesn't work or result in zero contents the preview button just look like its not working.
Showing a dialog or a simply remove the table preview with a text saying "XPath has an error" and/or "Xpath does not currently match anything". Furthermore it looks like the preview is different than what will actually be shown (table vs tree)

Stop server shows a modal dialog

URL: http://jira.jboss.com/jira/browse/JBIDE-402
Project: JBoss IDE
Issue Type: Feature Request

"Stop server" runs in a modal dialog with no option for hiding it etc.
Can't it run as a background job ? or at least have a progress bar and option for skipping/ignoring so we avoid users getting stuck because of slow/busy/buggy userapp/server etc.

the event log tree is nice, but would be good to have a timestamp and be able to show it with a relevative time info (e.g. 2m 17s after server start or 1h 40m ago)
could be shown in the property view instead of just _EXPECTED_STATE true and other "alien" info ;)
