[JBoss JIRA] (JBIDE-21466) Don't scroll up the software/update list when Enable EA dialog is cancelled
by Mickael Istria (JIRA)
Mickael Istria updated JBIDE-21466:
-----------------------------------
Fix Version/s: 4.3.x
> Don't scroll up the software/update list when Enable EA dialog is cancelled
> ---------------------------------------------------------------------------
>
> Key: JBIDE-21466
> URL: https://issues.jboss.org/browse/JBIDE-21466
> Project: Tools (JBoss Tools)
> Issue Type: Enhancement
> Components: central
> Affects Versions: 4.3.1.Beta2
> Reporter: Jan Richter
> Assignee: Mickael Istria
> Priority: Optional
> Fix For: 4.3.x
>
>
> Central -> software/update -> enable early access -> dialog opens.
> Now when the dialog is closed, the software list is refreshed and scrolls to the top. Can it stop doing that when the dialog is cancelled or closed otherwise than with the 'Yes' button? Nothing changes if I don't say yes, so there is no point in refreshing the list, right?

[JBoss JIRA] (TOOLSDOC-708) JBDS 9.1 Beta2: Update support page with fedora and os x versions

[~mhusnain], ah, ok, this makes sense then. I didn't realize this aspect of it - that showing Beta support matrix could imply the Beta is actually supported. Let's wait for GA then.

[~mmalina], this is fairly standard because we don't want to imply that the beta or alpha bits are supported and the GA version is not out yet. We had a chat about this on a JBDS-IS issue a while ago[1] and Mus was in agreement. I suspect GSS would be in an awkward position if they received calls requesting support for non-GA releases based on the release already being on the "Supported XYZ" page. If you disagree, I'm happy to bring it up for discussion on the list.

[JBoss JIRA] (JBDS-3585) Update support matrix to include OS X El Capitan (10.11)
by Martin Malina (JIRA)
Martin Malina resolved JBDS-3585.
---------------------------------
Resolution: Done
[~akazakov], I'm not sure why you assigned this to me :) but I suppose this can be resolved - the acks are here and the changes are already done in the new support matrix draft and that will be verified as part of TOOLSDOC-708 . So this requirement is done.

> OS X El Capitan 10.11 was released in autumn 2015 and we actually tested JBDS 9.0 with it already, but it was too late to change the support matrix. So let's do it for JBDS 9.1.
> I suggest to have the latest two versions for JBDS 9.1, i.e. Yosemite and El Capitan.
