> Most installers have a single progress bar that shows the overall progress, and then text which explains which component is being installed right now.
> Update:
> After discussion on backlog grooming session it seems reasonable to have two progress bars instead of one. Considering size of downloaded resources and time spend for downloading/installation we might have much longer installation time than now with single progress bar. Instead we can start downloading resources and install them as soon as download is finished. That would let us run installation in sequence and avoid problems with running two MSI installer at the same timed. Also that would save some time and do installation for smaller components while download for big ones is in progress.

[JBoss JIRA] (JBIDE-24841) Remove findbugs plugin from Central

> I suggest we remove FindBugs connector from Central. It seems it hasn't been developed for some time now. The version we have in central is:
> edu.umd.cs.findbugs.plugin.eclipse_3.0.1.20150306-5afe4d1
> And if you look at the project's update site, that's still the latest release there is:
> Furthermore, it kind of broke for me now. I never tested it extensively. But I would create a project and then right-click -> Find Bugs -> Find Bugs. This would open a window showing progress as the project is searched for bugs. When I tried it now, no window appears. For a few seconds something shows up in the status bar. But I can't see the results anywhere.
> Since this is Central, we could do this right away - affecting devstudio 11 / jbosstools 4.5.0. But I guess we need PM approval first.

[JBoss JIRA] (JBIDE-23306) Application wizard: Provide increased "Details" panel size
by Andre Dietisheim (JIRA)
Andre Dietisheim edited comment on JBIDE-23306 at 8/30/17 10:31 AM:
--------------------------------------------------------------------
How much is shown/cut off is apparently platform specific (and most likely relies on fonts). In my MacOS 3 lines are full displayed while the 4th is shown by a few pixels. We could measure the line height and choose to display 3 or 4 full lines
There also inconsistencies in the UI that we can fix at the same time:

> Currently, it provides a 2 lines and half visibility.
> 2 things:
> - perhaps we can add enough space for mor elines, 4?
> - if we can avoid to cut the 3rd line (not sure that it is easy as it might be dependent on font?)
