Nick Boldt commented on JBDS-4671:
----------------------------------
Hmm. That's unexpected. Your GA release should not be prompting you to install a pre-GA release.
Can you do this as a workaround?
* Help > Install new > select the stable devstudio site [1]
* deselect *Group items by category*
* select "Branded Product"
* perform the install

[JBoss JIRA] (JBIDE-25586) OpenJDK9 + OpenShift Tooling: Cannot connect to OpenShift on CDK
by Andre Dietisheim (JIRA)
[ https://issues.jboss.org/browse/JBIDE-25586?page=com.atlassian.jira.plugi... ]
Andre Dietisheim commented on JBIDE-25586:
------------------------------------------
[~jkopriva] when connecting oc wont matter, authenticating is done with the client lib only. And then I tested all variants (as mentioned above): I have the launched cdk via the server adapter and also manually. When launched via adapter I use the connection that the adapter is creating and also create a connection manually. In all those cases everything works fine for me. So unfortunately I cannot be of any help since I cannot reproduce this on MacOS. Re-assigning to [~rob.stryker].
