The NPE is caused by the extension not loading. The extension doesn't load because the archives.webtools bundle does not load. The archives.webtools bundle does not load because of it's reference to ArchivesModuleModelListener, which for some reason was receiving a class not found exception. And then I cleaned my projects and it worked magically. Were you testing this from a build or from workspace code?
