When the issue was open in 2008, the editor was quite slow with files that were not very
large - description mentions about 300 entries.
I had fixed that right away and cannot reproduce the problem with files of 1000 entries.
The issue remained open to wait for feedback as performance issues can reappear from
unexpected quarters.
We appreciate your feedback very much. I have tried to reproduce this issue and still
cannot. Could you please attach your properties file?

unfortunately I can't provide a recipe to reproduce the problem.
However: It seems to happen when:
I open 2 properties files - each about 300 lines
I have the properties files open for some time (not using it)
then I add a line and save it: in this case eclipse is stuck for 1-2 seconds.
I only have about 300 properties in the editor.
