Max Rydahl Andersen commented on JBIDE-6315:
--------------------------------------------
I guess we can assume the projects classpath got the proper libraries available to execute
the code and get a "descriptor" somehow - that would alleviate any need for
shrinkwrap runtime configuration (we simply just use the projects classpath).
But we would need to have some code to introspect the "result" ...do you guys
have an xml/json structure/serialization of these archives we could use and not have a
binary dependency on you ?
Shrinkwrap output visualization

Key: JBIDE-6315
URL:
https://jira.jboss.org/browse/JBIDE-6315
Project: Tools (JBoss Tools)
Issue Type: Feature Request
Components: testing
Reporter: Pete Muir
Fix For: 3.2.x
When writing packaging descriptions (e.g. via Shrinkwrap or traditionally via Ant/Maven),
you often want to view what the generated artifact looks like so you can check where a
particular file is placed.
Provide a visualization of the current Shrinkwrap, this should view just like the package
explorer in eclipse (consistency!) and update in realtime as someone alters their
shrinkwrap declaration. Having a filter would be useful as well.
