Snjezana Peco commented on JBIDE-2215:
--------------------------------------
This issue happens when using JBoss Tools servers or wtp's JBoss servers because the
sourcePathComputers ext. point isn't defined correctly.
JBoss Tools' sourcePathComputers is mostly copied from wtp.
An example of the correct sourcePathComputers is Tomcat's sourcePathComputers.
I replaced JBoss Tools' sourcePathComputers with Tomcat's sourcePathComputers and
the source lookup worked properly.
Max,
Would you like me to commit this fix?
Galder,
You don't need to go to the source tab in order to use a Java Library/User Library.
You can add the user library to the project, switch to the J2EE Module Dependencies and
add your library as a web library dependency.
wtp will do the rest. If sourcePathComputers is defined correctly, the souce lookup will
work correctly.
Unable to add User Library as Source Lookup Path to AS/EAP server.

Key: JBIDE-2215
URL:
http://jira.jboss.com/jira/browse/JBIDE-2215
Project: Tools (JBoss Tools)
Issue Type: Bug
Components: JBossAS
Affects Versions: 2.1.0.CR1
Reporter: Galder Zamarreno
Assigned To: Snjezana Peco
Fix For: 2.1.0.GA
I'm wanna be debugging an AS/EAP instance using
the binaries and attach source code that I'm using for
my project but it's not working.
Example, I have a project called ejb3-beans that uses
a User Library called eap-4.3.0.ga and within it, I have
different jars and attached source code to them.
Now, if I go to the launch configuration of the EAP 4.3
server, I go to the source tab and try to add a new path
which points to a Java Library/User Library, which is
eap-4.3.0.ga, but it doesn't work. No source code is
pulled and trying to expand the user library in the source
lookup path is unable to do so. No error is reported.
