Open Web Development Perspective. Do not open JBoss Server View! 2. Window->Preferences->JBoss tools->JBoss Servers->View 3. Uncheck some checkboxes. Press Apply button. NPE will appears (JBIDE-1483). 4. New > New project > Seam web project. 5. Create default Seam project, press Finish. Error appears. It seems this error is somehow related to JBIDE-1483 . Log attached This issue will not be reproduced after JBoss Server View was opened.
