The Spring team is using the org.springframework.ide.eclipse for branding all their features. It contains the welcomePage property. That's why several same welcome pages (Spring IDE) appear when calling Help>Welcome. There is the same issue in the SpringSource IDE (take a look at the attached sts-welcome.png screenshot). The solution is to remove the welcomePage property from this plugin. I have created a bug against Spring IDE - https://issuetracker.springsource.com/browse/STS-2093. The welcome page contained by this plugin is pretty poor so I hope the Spring team will agree to remove it.
