Pete Muir commented on JBIDE-6315:
----------------------------------
Yes, it can be hidden. However doesn't Eclipse have the ability to attach actions to
individual words inside the editor. I.e. I could right click on a Shrinkwrap archive
field/local variable/return in Eclipse and select Shrinkwrap -> Visualize
Shrinkwrap output visualization

Key: JBIDE-6315
URL:
https://jira.jboss.org/browse/JBIDE-6315
Project: Tools (JBoss Tools)
Issue Type: Feature Request
Components: testing
Reporter: Pete Muir
Fix For: 3.2.x
When writing packaging descriptions (e.g. via Shrinkwrap or traditionally via Ant/Maven),
you often want to view what the generated artifact looks like so you can check where a
particular file is placed.
Provide a visualization of the current Shrinkwrap, this should view just like the package
explorer in eclipse (consistency!) and update in realtime as someone alters their
shrinkwrap declaration. Having a filter would be useful as well.
