I'm going to take a look but I fear it is a fairly complicated problem. I think it has
been reported already a long time ago and it was one of the reasons to start anew with the
jBPM 4 editor. IIRC it is due to the fact that editing the XML sources causes the nodes to
be deleted in the DOM tree. This causes the graphical info to disappear as well and I
believe there is no easy way of reconstructing that information.
