Nick Boldt updated JBDS-1788:
-----------------------------
Attachment: Screenshot-PMD-3.2.6-installed-in-JBDS41CR3.png
After installing the JBDS feature for PMD, I get the plugin installed:
[12:26:47]nboldt@x2lappy:~/jbdevstudio-product-linux-gtk-4.1.0.v201107151650R-H633-CR3_2/studio
$ find . -name "*pmd*"
./features/com.jboss.jbds.pmd.feature_1.0.0.v20110718-1320-H957-CR3
./plugins/net.sourceforge.pmd.eclipse.plugin_3.2.6.v200903300643
Are you saying the plugin's not active? Missing upstream 3rd party deps? Some
additional plugin(s) need to be installed too?
Seems to be recognized here in Help > About:

Missing PMD feature on Extras site
----------------------------------
Key: JBDS-1788
URL:
https://issues.jboss.org/browse/JBDS-1788
Project: Developer Studio (JBoss Developer Studio)
Issue Type: Bug
Components: Build
Affects Versions: 4.1.0.CR3
Reporter: Jiri Peterka
Assignee: Nick Boldt
Priority: Blocker
Fix For: 4.1.0.CR3
Attachments: missing-pmd-feature.png,
Screenshot-PMD-3.2.6-installed-in-JBDS41CR3.png
Only (certified) feature is present but underlying PMD feature which is missing. So
installation goes ok but no PMD is installed.
Update site:
http://www.qa.jboss.com/binaries/RHDS/updates/development/4.1.0.CR3_extras/
I set it as a blocker, but if decided PMD must not be part of JBDS 4.1 update site (then
lower priority).
