Andre Dietisheim resolved JBIDE-6695.
-------------------------------------
Resolution: Done
I implemented:
* additional facet (Google Web Toolkit) to use when creating a dynamic web project. By
checking it, you'll get GWT support in your project:
- your project gets supported by the Google Eclipse Plugins (¨GWT nature: builder and
verifier)
- you can cross-compile your GWT Java classes to javascript (context-menu on your
project->GWT compile)
- choose the GWT runtime to run agains (context-menu on your proj->Web Toolkit
Settings)
etc.
* an additional wizard page in the project creation wizard that allows you to get sample
code
- if you check it, the wizard creates a sample (code, html, css etc.) in your project that
might be called in your browser
* you still have all functionalities that are present in dynamic web projects
- may be deployed to jboss AS
- etc.
The plugin's still experimental and is not production ready. For instance, the
output-folder you choose (if you used the java facet, too) is just overriden by this
plugin. It is meant as a first step to get collaboration with google and convincing them
to integrate nice with WTP
create wtp support for gwt
