Martin Malina commented on JBDS-976:
------------------------------------
I can confirm that the icon is correct if JBDS is launched using JBoss Developer
Studio.app (using jbdevstudio-eap-macosx-carbon-3.0.0.v200912182118M-H46-CR1.jar).
When I created this JIRA I was probably launching it using Eclipse.app - I wasn't
familiar with the structure and since the directory is called eclipse it seemed logical to
launch Eclipse.app and not look further down for something else (JBoss Developer
Studio.app).
I agree it would be good to remove Eclipse.app, but I have another suggestion: Would it be
possible to move the JBoss Developer Studio.app one dir up to the root installation dir?
That way one wouldn't have to look for the app to launch and would see it right away.
Obviously it would require some changes in the app - when you just move it, it misses
libraries.
JBDS does not have a branded icon on Mac OS X
