Max, we do use the complete class path. In steps above, I mentioned lib folder just for
example. Of course, tests may be more various.
Though... Max, did you mean that we should look for _myfaces-metadata.xml_ in the complete
class path? In my reasoning, MyFaces is a third party product, and if a developer creates
a project to work with MyFaces he usually just adds to class path a desired version of
their libraries. A case of adding to custom project MyFaces sources to be built together
with it looks exotic to me. And adding myfaces-metadata.xml from another MyFaces version
instead of updating libraries to that version also looks uncommon. On the other hand, may
it be convenient to have MyFaces support in tools by just adding myfaces-metadata.xml to
project instead of complete libraries?
