[JBoss JIRA] Created: (RHDS-195) Installer and about box and gfx still says Beta 1 - should be beta2

Installer and about box and gfx still says Beta 1 - should be beta2
-------------------------------------------------------------------
Key: RHDS-195
URL: http://jira.jboss.com/jira/browse/RHDS-195
Project: Red Hat Developer Studio
Issue Type: Task
Components: installer, ui/branding
Affects Versions: 1.0.0.beta2
Reporter: Max Andersen
Assigned To: Daniel Azarov
Fix For: 1.0.0.beta2
Beta 1 is still used in all the strings in the installer should be Beta 2.
Any way we can automate that so the build can hand down the product name/version combo would be very much appreciated.
The issue is the same with the graphics.
I say we should remove the version number from the gfx until we go final.
So:
1) Replace Beta 1 with Beta 2 in installer text (a plus if it can be parameterized)
2) Remove Beta 1 from the Gfx
3) Have the version info in the about box reflect the version and build id
Assigned to Daniel for 1 and 2. #3 probably require input/work from Marshall.

[JBoss JIRA] Closed: (JBIDE-553) Automatic refreshing of deployed app in app server
by Max Andersen (JIRA)
Max Andersen closed JBIDE-553.
------------------------------
Fix Version/s: 2.0.0.Beta4
Resolution: Duplicate Issue
doing it on every save would be overkill (would trigger redeploy too often)
The resources will be copied automatically but a restart/redeploy needs to be manually done. We provide a "touch" button that touches the relevant file for a project.

> Nice to have. Seam gen produces a build.xml which is able to "restart" a web app by touching the web.xml (presumably when deployed in exploded mode). Would be nice if this could be part of a autosave build task when any pertinent java code is saved and autocompiled by eclipse (presumably also exploded deployment could be used). Obviously the aim is to not have any perceived deployment cycle when developing, simply refresh the browser/client and changes will be visible.
