> Click browse clas for a Class attribute.
> First thing I notice is that ".settings" and "META-INF" is there as a package; why ?
> Expand it so it gets some children and grows bigger than the list.
> layout works fine.
> Close it.
> Click browse again:
> Now the dialog fills up the whole screen (height wise)
> Select a class.
> Close it.
> Open it again:
> Recent tab is empty ?
> Search tab's "arrow down" is bigger and has pixel artifacts. Not the same as with Eclipse's Open Type dialog.

Yes, this dialog did not read from JDT. Now I changed it to use JDT.
EXECUTE: Create Seam Project.
ASSERT: Project contains source src/action.
ASSERT: src/action contains class org.domain.s3.session.Authenticator.
EXECUTE: Open faces-config.xml and push Browse... button for 'Application Factory' field.
ASSERT: Java tree in dialog has branch org/domain/s3/session/Authenticator.

[JBoss JIRA] Updated: (JBIDE-727) "Browse Class" has ui issues and funny content
by Max Andersen (JIRA)
[ http://jira.jboss.com/jira/browse/JBIDE-727?page=all ]
Max Andersen updated JBIDE-727:
-------------------------------
Assignee: Viacheslav Kabanovich (was: Daniel Azarov)
Ok daniel thanks.
slava I tried it again and the content is still broken:
e.g. try and use this on a seam generated project where you have src/action and src/model.
Then "action" shows up as a package. What model is this dialog reading from ? It definitly does not look like it is using the JDT's model.
Furthermore the first tab does not allow me just to write "Company", i have to write "org.model.Company"
second tab doesn't look like it is finding *any* of the projects classes.
third tab doesn't list any recent selections.
What about just using the default class type selection dialog for now until the above issues are fixed ?

Daniel Azarov commented on JBIDE-727:
-------------------------------------
Layout problem is fixed
But I can't fix "arrow down" image...
We use old deprecated class org.eclipse.jdt.internal.ui.dialogs.TypeSelectionComponent it is a Composite
comment before class advice to use org.eclipse.jdt.internal.ui.dialogs.FilteredTypesSelectionDialog but it is a Dialog
we can't use it without serious changes.
We can't change image icon in TypeSelectionComponent class without copying this class in our packages.

[JBoss JIRA] Created: (JBIDE-1117) Run as fails if just one module of many is delete
by Max Andersen (JIRA)
Run as fails if just one module of many is delete
-------------------------------------------------
Key: JBIDE-1117
URL: http://jira.jboss.com/jira/browse/JBIDE-1117
Project: JBoss Tools
Issue Type: Bug
Components: JBossAS
Affects Versions: 2.0.0.CR1
Reporter: Max Andersen
Assigned To: Rob Stryker
Priority: Critical
Fix For: 2.0.0.CR1
Create 2 seam projects and have them deployed to the same server.
delete 1 seam project and try and publish the remaining one.
Now I get a "The module cannot be published because it cannot be located"
First: The error message should say *which* module that cannot be published!
Second: The cause is because the below code just iterates all modules and stop is if just one is wrong....that can't be right.
public IStatus publishModule(int kind, int deltaKind,
int modulePublishState, IModule[] module, IProgressMonitor monitor)
throws CoreException {
IStatus status = null;
boolean deleted = false;
for( int i = 0; i < module.length; i++ ) {
if( module[i] instanceof DeletedModule )
deleted = true;
}
if (ServerBehaviourDelegate.REMOVED == deltaKind) {
status = unpublish(server, module, monitor);
} else if (kind == IServer.PUBLISH_FULL || kind == IServer.PUBLISH_CLEAN) {
if( deleted )
throw new CoreException(new Status(IStatus.ERROR, JBossServerCorePlugin.PLUGIN_ID, "The module cannot be published because it cannot be located"));
status = fullPublish(module, module[module.length-1], monitor);
} else if (kind == IServer.PUBLISH_INCREMENTAL || kind == IServer.PUBLISH_AUTO) {
if( deleted )
throw new CoreException(new Status(IStatus.ERROR, JBossServerCorePlugin.PLUGIN_ID, "The module cannot be published because it cannot be located"));
status = incrementalPublish(module, module[module.length-1], monitor);
}
return status;
}
