When the "ftl" type is selected and you add parameters, nothing gets generated. However the Freemarker resource does have multiple parameter that can be set, like encoding and bindId. Maybe the XSL template and FTL template shouldn't under the same template type. Using this search window is not comfortable when you don't now the class name or if you have a class name that is very common and eclipse returns +5 hits. Selecting the class by browsing the project package structure is a lot more comfortable in those cases. EXECUTE: Select Graph view. Add .xml file to xml tab. Add any Java class to Java tab. EXECUTE: Drag and Drop one element from XML to this java class. ASSERT: Link created. EXECUTE: Now Drag and Drop Java class back to this XML element. Screenshot attached(i use faces-config and random java class for example). FAILURE: Studio hangs up. Endless loop started. Currently the smooks tools requires you to have sample XML, which isn't very logical. It's good that it's not mandatory to use XSD and that you can use a example XML to create your smooks configuration.
