You are prompted to connect to the account but you are allowed to change also the user name. You either need to check "Expose your management port" in the server editor (and set up a user in your remote as7 installation). Or you need to change the Startup poller to Web poller (instead of JBoss 7 Manager Service which doesn't make sense unless you expose the management port). It would be desirable to make this work OOTB - e.g. by default use the web poller - this would be the easiest solution that wouldn't require any extra logic, but also it wouldn't encourage users to use the management api.
