[JBoss JIRA] (JBIDE-15597) Environmental Variables UI
by Martes Wigglesworth (JIRA)
Martes Wigglesworth updated JBIDE-15597:

Attachment: jira-JBIDE-15597-setupprojectview-variablesbutton-twochoices-screenshot.jpeg
Here is an example of both buttons positioned in the correct view.
There will not be two buttons, however, I am putting in both the expansion view, and the popout modal dialog for a comparison of the two during testing.

This is the basic button behavior with only the assumption that a modal dialog will pop out the wizard for editing of environmental variables.

Martes Wigglesworth commented on JBIDE-15597:
---------------------------------------------
Hey Andre.
Thanks for the input.
I was just trying to document some progress with the placement of the action button.
I actually wrote a "note-to-self" referencing moving the button to the other view page, to better associated with the Mockup discussions that have occurred.
The newer screen-shot is the one that I am going to work from.
I agree that having two expansions is not a good idea.
This was just a test exercise in seeing if we want to have a drop-down/expansion, or a modal dialog view.
I am going to go with an expansion, and then have the buttons act as they do in the mockup that you edited.

The application wizard now shows the domain, allows the user to change it and to manage it by hitting the link "manage domains"
