> Subclipse 1.10 has support for the new 1.8 working copy format, which is the format used by the current stable versions of Windows tools like TortoiseSVN and SlikSVN.
> Local repository compatibility between these tools and JBDS is very nice to have.
> Unfortunately, this version of SubClipse supports only JavaHL, not SVNKit, because version 1.8.0 of the latter is still in alpha. And since we can't reliably use JavaHL (see JBIDE-14795), using 1.8.0 is out of the question.

> Once there's a more stable version of SVNKit 1.8 that works with Subclipse 1.10, we can explore updating Central to include the newer version.

[JBoss JIRA] (JBIDE-14909) Users should be warned when WFK maven repo is missing
by Michelle Murray (JIRA)
Michelle Murray updated JBIDE-14909:
------------------------------------
Affects: Documentation (Ref Guide, User Guide, etc.)
> Users should be warned when WFK maven repo is missing
> -----------------------------------------------------
>
> Key: JBIDE-14909

> Affects Versions: 4.1.0.Beta1
> Environment: Using JBDS Beta1-v20130529-0631-B257

> When you create a new archetype-based project from JBoss Central with EAP runtime you will be given a warning if you don't have the EAP maven repo installed. Similarly users should be warned when they try to create the HTML5 project (under 'start from scratch') with EAP runtime but don't have the WFK maven repo installed.
> Right now what happens is that if you don't have the repo installed you'll get an error about missing dependency versions. The reason for that is that the bom containing the versions is not found.
> See JBIDE-11242, where a similar issue was earlier resolved for Spring and Richfaces projects.

[JBoss JIRA] (JBIDE-15770) Can't remove cordova plugins with "remove cordova plugin" menu item
by Michelle Murray (JIRA)
Michelle Murray edited comment on JBIDE-15770 at 10/24/13 8:28 PM:
-------------------------------------------------------------------
Indeed, it is a refresh issue. F5 resolved. Now when using "remove cordova plugin" menu item the plug-ins are no longer listed under "plugins" folder.
*BUT* removed plug-ins are still listed in config.xml file and so present in Platform Properties pane of Cordova Configuration Editor. I would have expected them to have been removed. Actions such as F5, closing and reopening the config.xml file, and restart the IDE have not resolved.
Also still an issue is that after selecting "remove plug-in", the "progress" window flashes opens and closes immediately. Need to resolve this somehow. Could the progress information just go into the standard Eclipse "Progress" tab? Then there would be no need for the additional window.

> "Remove Cordova plugin" menu item doesn't work.
> 1. Make a hybrid mobile project with wizard
> 2. Add a cordova plugin via the Cordova Configuration Editor, Platform Properties pane, Add button >> plug-ins listed in Project Explorer tab under plugins folder
> 4. Right-click plug-in name (in Project Explorer)
> 5. Click Remove Cordova Plugin >> window flashes open and closes immediately, plug-in still listed under plugin folder :(

[JBoss JIRA] (JBIDE-15747) Add subheadings to Features pane in Cordova Configuration editor

> In Cordova Configuration Editor, Platform Properties mode, the new Features pane has two tables with buttons. Once you click Add for each table it becomes clear what tables are for. But for clarity could subtitles be added above each table? For example, "Cordova Plug-ins" for the left table and "Parameters" for the right table.
