Rob Stryker reassigned JBIDE-13861:

> When Downloading a new Server (in Preferences > JBoss Tools Runtimes > Download...), this server should automatically be added to the available servers.
> I add to click "Add" after "Download..." completed.
> Also, the only feedback that server is downloading is in Eclipse status bar. It's not quite visible. A pop-up with a progress bar would be more explicit.

[JBoss JIRA] (JBIDE-13861) Server should be automatically added to list after a "Download"
by Rob Stryker (JIRA)
Rob Stryker updated JBIDE-13861:

Attachment: JBIDE-13861a.png
JBIDE-13861b.png
screenshots one and two. First one shows how the dialog disappears, but the preference page is still up. Second one shows how when you exit the pref. page, the other dialog is there.
Finally, I didn't add it to a screenshot, but, I can verify I do in fact see a server automatically added to the servers view once the download is complete.
Are you sure you aren't getting any errors in the error log?

-------------------------------------
this is more snjezana's field, but, if you close the preference page, a progress dialog WILL show up. Once the job is done, the server is created. I cannot duplicate your issue.
Here's a stack trace of the server being created from the download dialog:
JBossASHandler.createJBossServer(File, String, String, String) line: 144
JBossASHandler.createJBossServerFromDefinitions(List<RuntimeDefinition>) line: 96
JBossASHandler.initializeRuntimes(List<RuntimeDefinition>) line: 83
RuntimeDetector.initializeRuntimes(List<RuntimeDefinition>) line: 36
RuntimeInitializerUtil.initializeRuntimes(List<RuntimeDefinition>) line: 36
DownloadRuntimeDialog.createRuntimes(String, IProgressMonitor) line: 705
DownloadRuntimeDialog.downloadAndInstall(String, String, boolean, IProgressMonitor) line: 596
Screenshots to be attached.

[JBoss JIRA] (JBIDE-13739) CDI Support cannot be disabled if CDI Maven Configurator is installed and enabled
by Fred Bricon (JIRA)
Fred Bricon edited comment on JBIDE-13739 at 3/27/13 8:48 AM:
--------------------------------------------------------------
Fixed in master.
For non-JavaEE projects, CDI support will be reenabled only after a Maven > Project Update, not automatically after adding some CDI dependency.
For JavaEE projects, once the CDI facet has been installed, if you manually disabled CDI support, it won't be reenabled automatically, even after project update.
