[JBoss JIRA] (JBDS-2556) JBDS70_0315, JBDS70_0413: [Commit] (Dev) (P2) Offline - JBDS Update Site Zip
by Nick Boldt (JIRA)
[ https://issues.jboss.org/browse/JBDS-2556?page=com.atlassian.jira.plugin.... ]
Nick Boldt commented on JBDS-2556:
----------------------------------
Description above is incorrect.
For script to locally cache Examples/Archetypes, see JBDS-2543.
For UI in Central to launch cache script, see JBDS-2552.
For production of an update site zip for JBDS, we already do that (and put it on the Early Access site). Only thing to do is ensure it's pushed to CSP this time around.
For production of a update site zip for JBDS-IS (Integration Stack / SOA-P/BRMS-P Tooling), I believe that's already being done. [~pleacu] can comment if that's not the case.

> Offline Usage of JBoss Central (Customers without or very slow Internet access)
> On-line once, then off-line - aka a user demo/instructional class - the testLocal cache is usable/complete after one on-line install. Provide a script that pre-caches everything for an instructor/demo'er in the field (online once, then offline).

> A method call remains as a red-underlined "problem" after the method has been created in another file. If you first write a method call whose method does not exist yet, the method call is labeled as a red-underlined problem. If you then create the method so that the method call no longer is a problem, the method call remains as a red-underlined "problem".

[JBoss JIRA] (TOOLSDOC-311) Review: Devs to review OpenShift Tools chapter for JBDS 7.0

Andre Dietisheim commented on TOOLSDOC-311:

*1.2.5. Generate and Upload SSH keys to OpenShift*
{quote}
They enable you to communicate with domains and create applications
{quote}
Not sure if I read this right. SSH keys are actually not used to communicate with domains. SSH keys are only used when the code gets cloned from and pushed to the application. They're also used with any operation that requires ssh access to an application: port forwarding, tail files, environment variables.

> Please review the content of the OpenShift chapter from a technical viewpoint:
> 1) Are features correctly documented?
> 2) Are there any features that are missing?
> The chapter has been sent to you by email as pdf. Please let me know if you would prefer an alternative format or delivery point for reviewing.
> Screenshots are currently missing and will be added closer to GA.
> Please give feedback as comments in this JIRA.

[JBoss JIRA] (JBDS-2489) A method call remains as a red-underlined "problem" after the method has been created in another file

[ https://issues.jboss.org/browse/JBDS-2489?page=com.atlassian.jira.plugin.... ]
Max Rydahl Andersen commented on JBDS-2489:
-------------------------------------------
I'm sorry but I fail to see what this bug report is about ?
Is it about the java compiler ? Then the incremental compiler in eclipse cannot fix all indirect referenced errors but they will be checked when saving/editing the specified file or rebuild the project. Thus the red markers should go away when you save/edit the file that has the compile error or run a full build.
If there is more to this please reopen the issue with actual concrete example.
