[JBoss JIRA] (JBIDE-14334) Double click/open With... for cheatsheet viewer
by Max Rydahl Andersen (JIRA)
Max Rydahl Andersen created JBIDE-14334:
-------------------------------------------
Summary: Double click/open With... for cheatsheet viewer
Key: JBIDE-14334
URL: https://issues.jboss.org/browse/JBIDE-14334
Project: Tools (JBoss Tools)
Issue Type: Sub-task
Reporter: Max Rydahl Andersen
right now it is tricky to open a cheatsheet.xml file in the cheatsheet viewer.
Can we make it the default action for open/edit or at least make it possible to choose as the default action for xml files with cheatsheets in them ?
maybe do it automatically for .cheatsheet.xml files ?

[JBoss JIRA] (JBIDE-14333) have context sensitive parameterized commands for open file, show type etc. with proper API

currently our custom cheatsheet commands requires the project name(s) to be known upfront. We should make them less reliant on project names and if at all possible have the project name calculated based on the project the cheatsheet file is open in.
The commands should also actually be commands with named parameters so the order of parameters does not matter and we should make sure these have a good and long term API so cheatsheets will continue to work well in the future.

[JBoss JIRA] (JBIDE-14332) open cheatsheet on project import
by Max Rydahl Andersen (JIRA)
Max Rydahl Andersen created JBIDE-14332:
-------------------------------------------
Summary: open cheatsheet on project import
Key: JBIDE-14332
URL: https://issues.jboss.org/browse/JBIDE-14332
Project: Tools (JBoss Tools)
Issue Type: Sub-task
Reporter: Max Rydahl Andersen
open cheatsheet when a project is imported.
Have a dialog that asks something like:
"Do you wish to open the cheatsheet for Project X ?
[ ] Remember this [Yes] [No]"
Special concern have to be done if users are importing multiple projects (wait until all is imported?) and what if users has just closed and now opening the project without an import ? Can we distinguish these two events ?

[JBoss JIRA] (JBIDE-14331) Make cheatsheets more pervasive
by Max Rydahl Andersen (JIRA)
Max Rydahl Andersen created JBIDE-14331:
-------------------------------------------
Summary: Make cheatsheets more pervasive
Key: JBIDE-14331
URL: https://issues.jboss.org/browse/JBIDE-14331
Project: Tools (JBoss Tools)
Issue Type: Feature Request
Components: project-examples
Reporter: Max Rydahl Andersen
We have used cheatsheets in project examples and suggested for use in quickstarts but because they only open when using project example wizard and central imports it is not as easy to get shown to users as we would like.
Suggestion is to make cheatsheets something that gets activated more easily - for example when importing a project with a .cheatsheet.xml file make it show up; be able to double click a cheatsheet.xml file to have it open in cheatsheet viewer as opposed to always the cheatsheet editor and so forth.
This jira will have a few subtasks for specific concerns.

> When creating a new server, OpenShift is listed under JBoss Community. Screen capture attached.
> As far as I know, OpenShift is not a JBoss product - it is marketed solely as Red Hat. And OpenShift is not community - it is maintained by Red Hat and they make money from it.
> So OpenShift doesn't fit under JBoss Community or JBoss Enterprise Middleware. I guess it needs a separate entry.

[JBoss JIRA] (JBIDE-13922) OpenShift "Secure Storage" dialog in infinite loop of prompting
by Andre Dietisheim (JIRA)
Andre Dietisheim edited comment on JBIDE-13922 at 4/29/13 5:39 AM:
-------------------------------------------------------------------
To me the dialog keeps popping up 5 times and then stops to appear. The account still shows the applications. Then of course each time I want to change/inspect some settings in this account the secure storage dialog shows up again.
We could try to improve this behaviour by setting "save password" to false as soon as you cancel the secure storage dialog. I'll have to investigate though how we could detect this and react.

> in this dialog, the dialog closes and pops back open. It's in an infinit loop.
> I must kill the app to get out of this cycle.
