-----------------------------------------------------------------
This is to allow a user to install Teiid Designer plugins without needing to add the orbit repository as a separate update site in their Eclipse IDE.
As it stands, Teiid Designer plugins do not install in a virgin eclipse installation, using the JBT-IS update site, due to lacking access to the jackson plugins. The pull request fixes that -without displaying the contents of orbit to the user- but does insert orbit as an associative update site in the user's available update sites. So is there is another way around this?
>From Nick, we have had [https://issues.jboss.org/browse/TEIIDDES-1843], which adds the dependencies to the Designer update site. Is that going to be a preferred option, despite my misgivings (see my comment on that JIRA).

> Teiid Designer plugins have dependencies available in the JBT Orbit repository. However, this is not advertised as available when installing Designer plugins from JBT-IS hence installation fails unless orbit is added as an update site separately.
> Add orbit to list of associated site so that dependencies can be properly resolved.

[JBoss JIRA] (JBDS-2720) Add CDW Developer with same permissions as Developer to ProjectRoles permission scheme
by Max Rydahl Andersen (JIRA)
Max Rydahl Andersen created JBDS-2720:
-----------------------------------------
Summary: Add CDW Developer with same permissions as Developer to ProjectRoles permission scheme
Key: JBDS-2720
URL: https://issues.jboss.org/browse/JBDS-2720
Project: Developer Studio (JBoss Developer Studio)
Issue Type: Feature Request
Security Level: Public (Everyone can see)
Reporter: Max Rydahl Andersen
Would be nice if projects that start using CDW flow have the CDW developers given the same permissions as the more broad Developer rule in the projectrole flow.
For example anyone that are a CDW developer should be assignable to issues - today it is only developers; forcing one to add a user to both roles where one should be sufficient.
