The kind of tasks I would be documenting are those where Forge 2 and the IDE intersect. For example, starting the Forge 2 runtime (Ctrl+5) [or choosing to start the runtime and then picking Forge 1 or 2]. Are the Forge GUI wizards specific to Forge 2?
