[JBoss JIRA] (JBDS-2857) Add OS X 10.9 Mavericks to the support matrix and drop 10.7 Lion
by Martin Malina (JIRA)
Martin Malina updated JBDS-2857:
--------------------------------
Summary: Add OS X 10.9 Mavericks to the support matrix and drop 10.7 Lion (was: Add OS X Mavericks to the support matrix)
As mentioned and agreed on today's PM meeting, together with adding Mavericks we can also drop 10.7 Lion. It has also been our strategy in the past that we usually keep the 2 newest version of an OS family.
> Add OS X 10.9 Mavericks to the support matrix and drop 10.7 Lion

> Key: JBDS-2857

> Project: Developer Studio (JBoss Developer Studio)
> Issue Type: Feature Request
> Security Level: Public(Everyone can see)
> Components: requirements
> Affects Versions: 7.1.0.CR1
> Reporter: Martin Malina
> Assignee: Len DiMaggio
> Fix For: 7.1.1.CR1, 8.0.0.Alpha2
>
>
> I know this comes very late, so you may want to just push this to 8.0.0 immediately.
> However, we've already been testing on Mavericks (I use it every day myself) since it was introduced on October 22, 2013 and have never seen any problem specific to it.
> I only realized we still don't have Mavericks in the matrix today when I checked Michelle's Supported Configurations document.

[JBoss JIRA] (JBIDE-16411) Add m2eclipse-mavenarchiver 0.16.0 to our TP + requirements
by Mickael Istria (JIRA)
Mickael Istria commented on JBIDE-16411:
----------------------------------------
Yes, that's the idea I had in mind first, but I found easier to keep both concerns separated to avoid adopting a verion change right now.
TP 4.31.2.Alpha1-SNAPSHOT is currently built by Jenkins so it will be easier to integrate change if we stick to this version.
But for sure, as soon as there's enough to create the 4.32.x branch, we'll create it.

> An unsigned build of m2eclipse-mavenarchiver 0.16.0 is available from http://repo1.maven.org/maven2/.m2e/connectors/m2eclipse-mavenarchiver/0.1...
> An eclipse signed version should be available in the upcoming weeks, as part of the Luna release
> Please add it to our TP / Requirements / whatever for JBT 4.1.2.
> This builds prevents aggressive pom.xml/pom.properties generation on each incremental build.
> This is required to help fix JBIDE-16286

[JBoss JIRA] (JBIDE-15932) CordovaSim needs to display console logs especially during startup
by Burr Sutter (JIRA)
Burr Sutter commented on JBIDE-15932:
-------------------------------------
Is there a way to display JS errors in CordovaSim? At this moment, it is "rare" for the Eclipse editor itself to indicate there is an error and if CordovaSim does not have a way to display the JS error then the end-user has no idea why the code is not executing. Normally the code in question is in deviceready as that is where the end-user should place most of their event triggers/hooks and other setup code.

> When a cordova application is launched the console.log calls are not displayed on Eclipse console (or anywhere else). CordovaSim needs a place to display the logs either within eclipse or on the Ripple console so the user can be notified about errors happening early on.
> Just using firebug or similar would not solve this issue since it is not started early enough.
