[JBoss JIRA] (JBDS-2960) Update BrowserSim/CordovaSim Skins
by Burr Sutter (JIRA)
Burr Sutter commented on JBDS-2960:
-----------------------------------
First, I do not want the list growing out of control - some items need to be removed:
Remove:
Blackberry
iPhone3
Samsung Galaxy S II
"Galaxy Note II"
and
"Galaxy S III" should have their vendor prefixes
And
Add "Samsung Galaxy S4"
Add "Samsung Galaxy Node 3"
Add "HTC One M8"
And see if you can organize these in age order (youngest to oldest but grouped by vendor)

Burr, you just want us to update the list of *devices* which are available by default or you want us to create new *skins*?

> Open an application in BrowserSim. Right-click simulated device and click debug>firebug lite. When firebug lite window opens, part of the test is obscured behind 'html'.
> !BrowserSim_Fb_hiddentext.png!
> Clicking through 'console', 'html', 'css' etc. buttons causes the text to become obscured and unobscured repeatedly. In one instance multiple clicking seemed to resolve the problem.
> This is perhaps an upstream issue but reporting here as a first port of call.

> On Ubuntu 12.04 x86, I used Eclipse Luna M6 JEE package, installed JBoss Tools "Abbriged" category. Next startup has UI thread frozen for several minutes.
> It looks like a long operation is running in UI Thread instead of being in a job.
> I've put this in Central component, but I don't know what component is actually responsible of this latency.
