Great [~lhein] - in general you should not set specific type.
But if you do you need to check for OS and other combos that might prevent it. If you need it I can digg out how handled in jboss tools since
webkit is in some cases specifically disabled to avoid collisions of native browser code.

by Rob Stryker (JIRA)

Rob Stryker updated JBDS-2913:
------------------------------
CDW devel_ack: - (was: ?)
Status: New (was: New)
> but is there anything we can do about the dialogue box?
Nope... that's an upstream component. Sorry.
Rejecting, since not replicatable.

> When running EAP from JBDS the console logging shows strange characters from the logging. See screen shots comparing EAP 6.1.0 to EAP 6.2.1 (this also happens on EAP 6.2.0)

[JBoss JIRA] (JBIDE-16687) provide access to palette entries via content assist
by Max Rydahl Andersen (JIRA)
Max Rydahl Andersen created JBIDE-16687:
-------------------------------------------
Summary: provide access to palette entries via content assist
Key: JBIDE-16687
URL: https://issues.jboss.org/browse/JBIDE-16687
Project: Tools (JBoss Tools)
Issue Type: Feature Request
Components: jsp/jsf/xml/html source editing
Reporter: Max Rydahl Andersen
Just had the idea while playing with drag'n'drop and JBIDE-16636.
Why don't we have the elements in the palette available via content assist too ?
Possibly as templates entries ?
i.e. if I write "table|" and | is content assist it would provide a content assist that would allow to invoke the insert of any palette entries that matches table (assuming its valid at the location).

[JBoss JIRA] (JBIDE-16636) allow drop without dialog from palette
by Max Rydahl Andersen (JIRA)
Max Rydahl Andersen commented on JBIDE-16636:
---------------------------------------------
So you are suggesting to use Copy Operation as insert directly, and kepp Move Operation as the one that shows dialog ?
If that is the case that sounds good for drag'n'drop.
Would be great if same works for click on button palette.

> sometimes when demoing or just trying a few things quickly or dragging trivial elements it would be nice being able to not have the wizard dialog show up.
> could we make it so when holding in Alt it will not show the dialog but just do whatever clicking the finish button would directly do ?
