[JBoss JIRA] (JBIDE-16961) All tests passed but no test results collected?
by Mickael Istria (JIRA)
[ https://issues.jboss.org/browse/JBIDE-16961?page=com.atlassian.jira.plugi... ]
Mickael Istria commented on JBIDE-16961:
----------------------------------------
In this case, I have the impression tests are actually not executed at all, but Tycho doesn't catch this failure behaviour and says that "All tests passed". There seems to be a bug in tycho-surefire-plugin.
We need to find out what triggers this "No protocol specified" message and report to Tycho a dummy example to reproduce the scenario.

> Assigning to Mickael to see if he has any insights as to WHY this might be happening. Can't be Tycho 0.20.0 as the Beta1x branch is still using Tycho 0.19.0. What does "*No protocol specified*" in the log after the surefire invocation mean?

[JBoss JIRA] (JBIDE-10155) JavaScript content assist issue with jQuery, but likely more

> Content assist with JavaScript with jQuery not working, or respecting namespaces. Most JavaScript content assist was fine.
> {code:JavaScript}
> <script type="text/javascript">
> $(document).ready(function() {
> //Fetches the initial member table
> updateMemberTable();
> //Register a event listener on the sumbit action
> $('#reg').submit(function(event) {
> event.preventDefault();
> var formValues = $(this).serialize();
> registerMember(formValues);
> });
> });
> </script>
> {code}
> Any call to "$('foo')." does not show any content assist. Using "jquery('foo'." instead of $ partially worked, but still not 100%. Not all the expected values are there. This makes me think there is two issues.
> To see the problem import the project I attached and try out desktop.html, or app.js.

[JBoss JIRA] (JBDS-2844) Management API Server Adapter

> Related to JBIDE-14073 and EAP6-1
> The current EAP/JBossAS/Wildfly Server Adapter often interacts with the underlying file-system of the app server. Users have asked that the following scenarios be supported:
> - Remote Server Start/Stop
> - Remote Server Deployment/Undeployment
> - Remote Server single file update (e.g. html, js, jsp, xhtml, etc) with hot-deployment (to be worked out with the Wildfly team)
> - Remote Server Log Viewing
> and while the focus here in on remote servers, it should work just as well with localhost-based servers.
> Also related, not having the actual server code locally installed, being able to work wholly with a remote server (comes up in the Data Virt/Teiid world).

> When I open browsersim by clicking the icon in JBDS menu bar, browsersim is launched, I can see the app in the dock, the window is active, but for some reason the system menu bar stays locked in JBoss Developer Studio. But the menu is dead - the only way to get the Browsersim menu is to swich to some other app and then back to Browsersim.
