[JBoss JIRA] (JBIDE-17167) rse.ui source bundle not available in locally-built TP
by Rob Stryker (JIRA)
[ https://issues.jboss.org/browse/JBIDE-17167?page=com.atlassian.jira.plugi... ]
Rob Stryker commented on JBIDE-17167:
-------------------------------------
No I haven't. because thats an expensive task for me, Eclipse will redownload all the jars, and download speeds are not optimal for me to do that.
I did rebuild the tp again locally, and i see several source bundles in rse, but not for rse.core / rse.ui. My TP build command was
$ cd jbosstools-target-platforms/jbosstools && mvn clean verify -Dmirror-target-to-repo.includeSources=true
I see hte following source bundles in jbosstools-target-platforms/jbosstools/multiple/target/jbosstools-multiple.target.repo:
{code}
16 ./plugins/org.eclipse.rse.services.telnet.source_2.0.400.201305201712.jar

[JBoss JIRA] (JBIDE-16625) Long left panel covers footer

> When the left panel is longer than some value and page is scrolled to the bottom, it covers part of footer making it unable to access few links from footer without scrolling back up:
> !website.png!
> Solution could be to "stuck" left panel on bottom of the page and scroll it up (like it is doing on the top of the page) so it would look like this:
> !website-fixed.png!
> And one more little thing (i don't think it deserves its own jira): The thin line just above the footer is on top of left panel and imo should be under.

[JBoss JIRA] (JBIDE-17122) Website: download section improvements

-If PRs are merged, is this issue done? xcoulon or maxandersen, please resolve or close as appropriate.-
Strike that, looks like https://github.com/jbosstools/jbosstools-website/pull/117/files isn't merged yet. Looks like a good idea (putting Installers under Installers, instead of Zips). Will take a deeper look later, but conceptually I like the change.

> The whole download section could be more effective. Few examples:
> - JBDS release has in description "One click install - for Windows, Linux and Mac" and "Full IDE installer or install to existing Eclipse" but after opening this page (by clicking on download button or JBoss Developer Studio 7.1.0.GA link) there is not "one click install", only update site is provided (only JBDS 8.0.0.Beta1 contains installer under Update site tab - there should be similar link - with jars - for JBDS 7.1.0.GA and JBDS 7.1.1.GA). Location: http://tools.jboss.org/downloads/ left side
> - JBDS 8.0.0.Beta1 development download page does not contain MD5 under Update Site Zip tab. Is it intentional? Location: http://tools.jboss.org/downloads/devstudio/luna/8.0.0.Beta1.html#zips
> - in same page is Installation link leading to http://tools.jboss.org/downloads/installation.html. On this page is paragraph Installer which describe installer and there is a download link leading back do downloads page with JBDS and JBT release. I think this link should navigate to JBDS download page, bcs. it is describing JBDS installer (not JBT). Location: http://tools.jboss.org/downloads/installation.html and link "download" in Installer section.
> - JBT specific release download page containt Market place, Central and Update site tabs, but JBDS specific release contains Market place XOR Central and Update site. JBDS 7.1.0.GA is missing Market place and JBDS 7.1.1.GA is missing Central (for JBDS-IS installation details). See JBDS pages: http://tools.jboss.org/downloads/devstudio/kepler/7.1.0.GA.html http://tools.jboss.org/downloads/devstudio/kepler/7.1.1.GA.html http://tools.jboss.org/downloads/devstudio/luna/8.0.0.Beta1.html and tabs on each page in middle
> - JBT update site zip links have label "unknown", there should be more convenient. Locations: http://tools.jboss.org/downloads/jbosstools/kepler/4.1.1.Beta1.html#zips http://tools.jboss.org/downloads/jbosstools/kepler/4.1.1.Alpha2.html#zips http://tools.jboss.org/downloads/jbosstools/kepler/4.1.1.Alpha1.html#zips http://tools.jboss.org/downloads/jbosstools/kepler/4.1.0.Alpha1.html#zips http://tools.jboss.org/downloads/jbosstools/kepler/4.1.0.Alpha2.html#zips http://tools.jboss.org/downloads/jbosstools/kepler/4.1.0.Beta1.html#zips http://tools.jboss.org/downloads/jbosstools/kepler/4.1.0.Beta2.html#zips
