> Apologies for not setting the Affect version; I'm not sure which JBIDE version is affected.
> When creating a cheatsheet in JBDS 7.0.1.GA (for JDF-497), I'm using the {{org.jboss.tools.vpe.browsersim.eclipse.commands.runBrowserSim}} command in the cheatsheet. This launches BrowserSim successfully (when I'm in the correct perspective). However, BrowserSim navigates to about:blank so the cheatsheet requires users to manually key in the URL. It would be nice to have the launch URL specified as a configurable value.

[JBoss JIRA] (JBIDE-16575) Tests for BrowserSim

Max Rydahl Andersen commented on JBIDE-16575:

Yes, multi configuraiton project shuold be doable.
Wuold these tests maybe be better fitted as part of QE integration-tests or do you prefer it running from basic junit tests in browsersim ?
in any case - probably needs a separate job for running these tests.

> We should create JUnit tests which will run BrowserSim on both Java platforms: with JavaFX and w/o it. Those tests should check if webkit BS can be run on both platforms and if JavaFX BS can be run on the platform with JavaFX.
> It's probably imposible to have such tests without special Jenkins settings.
> So [~nickboldt]'s help is needed.

> Add possibility to select BrowserSim rendering engine in Eclipse preferences.
> Right now it's possible only within BrowserSim preferences.
> Default engine is WebKit not javafx and therefore user has to have installed Safari and 32bit java on 64 bit MS Windows to be able to run BrowserSim and set engine to javafx.
> It would be more user friendly to set engine within BrowserSim/CordovaSim Eclipse preferences section.
