[JBoss JIRA] (JBIDE-2720) Need 64-bit windows support

Mikhail Kalkov commented on JBIDE-2720:
---------------------------------------
Err, than I must have been using HTML5 preview all this time since my files have .html extension. The XulRunner-backed preview of .xhtml file seems to work fine too though. Sorry for confusion!

> If you use a 64-bit JVM, the XULRunner parts of JBoss Tools does not load.
> We should look into providing a xulrunner for Windows 64-bit.
> *Update:*
> In JBoss Tools 4.1.0 and JBoss Developer Studio 7.0.0 XULRunner for 64-bit Windows is provided via experimental update site: http://download.jboss.org/jbosstools/updates/integration/kepler/core/xulr...
> {color:red}*Known problems:*{color}
> * XULRunner for 64-bit Windows is incompatible with Intel OpenCL SDK
> *If you get [R6034 error|https://issues.jboss.org/browse/JBIDE-2720?focusedCommentId=1277169...] you may:*
> * Try to uninstall Intel OpenCL SDK
> * *OR* Disable XULRunner by adding the option {{-Dorg.jboss.tools.vpe.loadxulrunner=false}} to the {{eclipse.ini}} (or {{jbdevstudio.ini}} if you use JBoss Developer Studio)
> If you do not have Intel OpenCL SDK installed but still getting the R6034 error, we will very appreciate if you run Process Explorer as described in [this comment|https://issues.jboss.org/browse/JBIDE-2720?focusedCommentId=12772...] and help us to find conflicting library.

[JBoss JIRA] (JBDS-3086) Change Central Discovery URLs?
by Nick Boldt (JIRA)
Nick Boldt edited comment on JBDS-3086 at 8/27/14 9:47 AM:
-----------------------------------------------------------
Categorized view in JBDS won't change, since the TP contents are not categorized.
!jbds3086_no-change-to-categorized-view.png!
However, if a user unchecks the box for *Group items by category* they will see a huge list of features now. Navigating that requires either a lot of scrolling, or searching by keyword, like vjet or experimental:

> Today, the Central discovery plugin for JBDS is points to this URL:
> <site>/central/core/
> and for Early Access discovery:
> <site>/central/earlyaccess/
> However, Max has suggested that we simplify the first, and change the second.
> I believe he wants something like this:
> https://devstudio.jboss.com/updates/8.0-development
> https://devstudio.jboss.com/updates/8.0/
> and
> https://devstudio.jboss.com/earlyaccess/8.0-staging/
> https://devstudio.jboss.com/earlyaccess/8.0-development/
> https://devstudio.jboss.com/earlyaccess/8.0/
> What do people think about this proposed change?

> * For the children, <name-of-repo>.<name-of-artifact>. Eg jbosstools-webservices.features, jbosstools-server.jmx.plugins...
