[JBoss JIRA] (JBIDE-18121) CordovaSim losing Ionic's Header
by Ilya Buziuk (JIRA)
Ilya Buziuk commented on JBIDE-18121:
-------------------------------------
[~burrsutter], reproducible only for *javaFx web engine* + *jdk 8* combo, isn't it? From the first glance it seems to be javaFx 8 upstream.

I notice that after this message appears in console some free space appears in the top

[~kmarmaliykov], I guess it's just a status bar side effect of Ionic Keyboard plugin for iphone / ipad skins, which is not coupled with that issue.

> I am using "ionic start demoapp sidemenu" - when the menu is activated and an option selected then the header will disappear. I included a demo of the iOS Simulator as well.

[JBoss JIRA] (JBIDE-17021) No editor descriptor for id org.eclipse.ui.internal.emptyEditorTab
by Radim Hopp (JIRA)
Radim Hopp commented on JBIDE-17021:
------------------------------------
Is this issue somehow (determinedly) replicable? I was trying today for half an hour to replicate this on some older version of JBT but without success. When I was seeing this in the past I wasn't able to find any deterministic way on how to reproduce.

> I keep from time to time to get two central editors to open up.
> 1) with "No editor descriptor for id org.eclipse.ui.internal.emptyEditorTab"
> 2) a few seconds later the real Central.
> My guess is that the editorinput for central is not behaving properly so it does not know how to restore itself causing it to be empty on start and then we force opening a new one even though already one there.

[JBoss JIRA] (JBIDE-18274) AS7/WildFly8/EAP6 with oracle java 7 fails to start when bound to your hostname
by Martin Malina (JIRA)
Martin Malina commented on JBIDE-18274:

It turns out that I can only replicate this if I use my hostname (nattura.brq.redhat.com) and not when I use the ip address.
I asked jpeterka to try this (on Linux) and he cannot replicate this for now - he set up a hostname in /etc/hosts and used openjdk 1.7 - I suspect that for some reason it's only replicable with oracle jdk 1.7.

[JBoss JIRA] (JBIDE-17935) AS7/WildFly8 fails to start when bound to your hostname even with web poller
by Martin Malina (JIRA)
Martin Malina resolved JBIDE-17935.
-----------------------------------
Resolution: Done
It turns out that I can only replicate this if I use my hostname (nattura.brq.redhat.com) and not when I use the ip address.
I asked jpeterka to try this (on Linux) and he cannot replicate this for now - he set up a hostname in /etc/hosts and used openjdk 1.7 - I suspect that for some reason it's only replicable with oracle jdk 1.7.
Anyway, I opened JBIDE-18274 for the remaining rare use case. Resolving this again.

> Rob changed the default poller for the local profile to Web poller, which should be correct. So when you change your hostname in the server editor from localhost to your actual hostname, it should correctly recognize your server has started. But it does not.

I've surprisingly been able to replicate this and it's a race-condition. I'll need to synchronize some variables in this class here.

But in this rare case it still fails for me.

[JBoss JIRA] (JBIDE-18227) JS console.debug() displays message to console with LOG prefix
by Ilya Buziuk (JIRA)
Ilya Buziuk commented on JBIDE-18227:
-------------------------------------
Actually console.debug was implemented:
{code}
"debug: function(message) {" //$NON-NLS-1$
"console.log(message);" //$NON-NLS-1$ do the same as for 'console.log'
"}"
{code}
^ Due to the fact that *console.log* and *console.debug* are identical - https://developer.chrome.com/devtools/docs/console-api#consoledebugobject...
However, this implementation has a prefix side effect. Need to do it better.
