That's true, but i feel like maven command line build is deploying properly (even if unresolved dep) then the tools should also do the same.

[~rob.stryker], can you confirm that the WildFly client jars are only used for the WildFly 8.x server/runtime type?
If that's the case, it's fine. I checked this yesterday with Rob and also today some more. Everything seems to be working ok. I tried WF 8.2 and 8.0.
