Kabir Khan commented on JBIDE-19641:
------------------------------------
Working late was not a good idea, I see the OperationBuilder.addAsFileAttachment() suggestion does the same as what I suggested

> When you try to deploy some really big war (~500 MB) to EAP 6.3 via management api, it will not go through.
> This is a follow-up of JBIDE-19350 which previously reported this, but Rob eventually used that JIRA to fix a side issue - the stuck operation could not be canceled.

> It is quite frequent that the "New" (and "Show in" for v3) submenu wont show up. This happens even if the submenu is first visible but then, on a 2nd context menu invocation, disappears

Andre Dietisheim commented on JBIDE-20014:
------------------------------------------
I now also tested this in Windows (7). I cannot reproduce it on window either.
So to me this currently looks like a Linux (GTK2 and GTK3) only issue.

[JBoss JIRA] (JBDS-3456) Resizing JBDS window right after is appears crashes it with GTK3
by Jan Richter (JIRA)

Jan Richter updated JBDS-3456:
------------------------------
Attachment: core_backtrace
I took a look at ABRT files instead and the reason stated 'java killed by SIGTRAP' hence no hs_* log file generated. I'll upload the backtrace at least if it is any help to you.

> If I try to resize/maximize the JBDS window right after launch, it crashes when the window has not finished rendering before the resize. There is no error in the log, just Fedora telling me that the JVM crashed. Running with GTK2 doesn't produce this issue.

> Just a small inconsistency - sometimes in JBT there's Context and Dependency Injection or Context*s* and Dependency Injection.
> Most references use Context not Context*s*. The correct one is the second one.
