> # ASSERT: make sure you have an openshift server configured to basic auth (only, no oauth)
> # EXEC: Launch connection wizard, create a new connection, use url of this server in "Server Url" and server type to "OpenShift v3".
> # EXEC: in "Authentication" details pane hit the "retrieve link"
> Result:
> The progress bar shows up for a short time and disappears right afterwards. There's no info in the wizard that tells you why retrieval didnt show up the browser.
> Expected result:
> There's an error that tells you that the local server doesnt support oauth and that you should use basic auth.
> !connection-wiazrd.png!
> It previously worked until we had to alter the 'retrieve' browser to utilize external. This may be resolved if we can re-introduce the original browser dialog

[JBoss JIRA] (JBIDE-19957) Application wizard: Add summary of generated values to new app
by Jeff Cantrill (JIRA)
Jeff Cantrill edited comment on JBIDE-19957 at 6/19/15 11:30 AM:
-----------------------------------------------------------------
There is no work around at the moment. These values are provided as part of the 'process' template that is returned to us. We can store them for later presentation or present them to the user prior to 'applying' the template. My initial thoughts were to display them as part of the summary page that a user will see to know what resources were created.

> Some templates allow you to define parameters that are generated for the user. We should update the new app flow to provide feedback to the user what those generated values are so they have them.
> Steps to reproduce:
> # EXEC: launch new application wizard from context menu of a v3 Openshift connection (New->Application)
> # ASSERT: new application wizard from template shows up
> # EXEC: Select a template and get to next page with template parameters
> # ASSERT: the list shows parameters with "(generated)" value
> !generated-template-parameters.png!
> EXEC: hit "Finish"
> Result:
> I have no feedback on the values of the generated parameters. I have no idea about what was generated.
