I did read through the upstream BZ, but I didn't notice anything along the lines that one link would work but the next not. So that's exactly what seems to be happening here: If I go through File -> New -> Server, then I can click Download and install runtime and it will work. Same if I right-click in the Servers view -> New Server. But if I click the hyperlink in Servers view to create the server, the consequent click on a hyperlink will fail. Likewise, if I go through File -> New -> Server and get all the way to the Download runtime dialog and then click another link (e.g. for WildFly homepage), it will fail. All of this was before applying the patch. But the problem with that is that if we have quickstarts which rely on ONE connectorId, we can't have them rely on one-or-two-if-EA-enabled.
