> Today the offline solution [1], [2] for installing stuff from Central or Early Access requires a pair of zips: the 3rd party content (target platform), and the stuff from JBoss Tools.
> [1] http://www.jboss.org/products/devstudio/download/ (Central Zip doesn't include the JBT stuff, just the 3rd party / TP content)
> [2] https://devstudio.redhat.com/9.0/staging/updates/ (both zips shown)
> We should combine these into a single, larger zip, such that the offline solution requires only a single zip and there's no confusion about what a Central Zip is.

[JBoss JIRA] (JBIDE-20361) OpenShift wizard: Signup link does not work on Mac

I have seen that issue with Links not working on OSX elsewhere (https://bugs.eclipse.org/bugs/show_bug.cgi?id=471717).
However, I tested with the code in master (on OSX 10.10.4) and could not reproduce the issue. I tried:
- creating a new OpenShift application from JBoss Central
- creating a new Connection from OpenShift Explorer
- creating a new OpenShift application from File > New > Project

[JBoss JIRA] (JBDS-3500) Change jbdevstudio-product structure to match other jbosstools repos
by Denis Golovin (JIRA)
Denis Golovin created JBDS-3500:
-----------------------------------
Summary: Change jbdevstudio-product structure to match other jbosstools repos
Key: JBDS-3500
URL: https://issues.jboss.org/browse/JBDS-3500
Project: Developer Studio (JBoss Developer Studio)
Issue Type: Task
Components: installer
Affects Versions: 9.0.0.GA
Reporter: Denis Golovin
Assignee: Denis Golovin
Fix For: 9.x
Would be good to have submodules as we have in other jbosstools repositories.
I would suggest three submodules:
# core - eclipse plug-ins, features, tests and site
# installer - p2-director, installer p2-repository, installer.jar assembly
# results - all related to product web sites
Dependencies between those three would be
results -> installer -> core

[JBoss JIRA] (JBIDE-20453) Instead of 4 zips, merge Central+TP and EA+TP into combined repos for easier offline use
by Nick Boldt (JIRA)
Nick Boldt edited comment on JBIDE-20453 at 8/13/15 2:30 PM:
-------------------------------------------------------------
Sure, but as I said before...
* the Central and EA zips we had for JBDS 8 contained BOTH 3rd party and org.jboss.* stuff.
* the Central and EA zips we have for JBDS 9 (in CSP and on www.jboss.org) is missing the org.jboss.* stuff.
Therefore, this PR is fixing a REGRESSION, not adding new API.
