Fix Version/s: 9.x

> Fix For: 9.x

> As a Java or Java EE developer, who wishes to test my JAX-RS endpoints as well as edit various JSON files, I need an editor that formats the nested curly braces, helps me to insure that I am not missing (nor have extra) curly braces, missing quotes, helps me to know when to use square brackets, etc. Ideally, the Eclipse Outline view would also work if I am editing a .json file.
> Ideally, we would support both a full JSON editor as well as working within the Web Services Tester.

We can't deliver it in JBDS 9.0.0 but yes, we probably can consider including it to 9.1 or 9.0.x.

[JBoss JIRA] (JBIDE-19645) Remove seam 3 features from JBDS, JBT default install; add new connector to Central
by Max Rydahl Andersen (JIRA)
Max Rydahl Andersen commented on JBIDE-19645:
---------------------------------------------
we are not distributing Seam 3 - we are simply distributing the plugins that work with seam 3.
We also ship support for launching JBoss 3.x and 4.x even though no longer maintained.
Similar with Java 1-4 even though no longer maintained.
Same with everything else where the runtimes are no longer supported, but users still will be running them.
Thus IMO "it is no longer maintained" is not enough reason to remove something - only if what we ship is shown to be utterly broken, hard to maintain or somehow causing damage in some form would it make sense to remove it imo.
For Seam3 we didn't find that thus not worth spending time on removing it (since that actually costs more than keeping it right now)
so if you have specific reasons beyond "it is no longer maintained" then let us know and we'll reevaluate.

> Burr has requested we also remove Seam 3. So I've assumed we'll do it the same way we did for Seam 2:
> * remove from CoreTools categories on update sites
> * remove from JBDS core.feature
> * create new connectors in JBT and JBDS Central
> [~burrsutter] [~maxandersen] please confirm this is the path you want taken for all the renaming features with "seam" in their name.

> looking at tracking numbers i'm seeing more and more requests where the keywords are not making it into the result.
> Meaning we can't see how many have installed the various plugins.
> What is weird *some* do and others do not have it.
> Need to track down the reason for that being missed.
