We had a chat about this on a JBDS-IS issue a while ago[1] and Mus was in agreement. I suspect GSS would be in an awkward position if they received calls requesting support for non-GA releases based on the release already being on the "Supported XYZ" page. If you disagree, I'm happy to bring it up for discussion on the list.
